Across Mi'kma'ki, contemporary Mi'kmaw artists are creating beautiful works of art using traditional tools, materials and methods. This book features a collection of works by nine of these artists. 

Accompanying images of their works are first-person narratives where the artists speak to their practices and backgrounds and offer insights into the relationships between history, tradition and land embodied by their work.
